Marty is a Partner & Managing Director at DH Capital. He has more than 25 years of investment and commercial banking experience, working primarily in the media and communications industries. Prior to joining DH Capital, Marty was a Managing Director at CIBC World Markets Corp. During his twelve years at CIBC, Marty held positions in both the Media/Communications Corporate Finance Group, which he co-managed, and the Leveraged Financed/High Yield Group. His responsibilities included structuring and marketing public offerings of high yield bonds, as well as private placements of preferred stock and common equity; originating, structuring and syndicating senior debt; advising clients on capital structures and financing strategies; and evaluating opportunities for CIBC's merchant banking affiliates.
Prior to CIBC, Marty worked for Bank of New England, National Westminster Bank USA, and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company. Marty graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of Michigan, where he earned a B.A. in American Culture and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Peter is the Co-Founder and CEO of DH Capital. Peter has led a number of significant transactions for DH Capital, including the $140 million sale of Hosted Solutions to ABRY Partners and the $75.5 million equity/debt financing for DataPipe by Goldman Sachs and Atalaya Capital. Prior to founding DH Capital, Peter was the CEO of DURO Communications, a leading ISP in the southeastern United States. Prior to DURO, Peter was the Vice President of Business Development for Helicon Cable, a top 20, privately owned, cable MSO.
Peter is deeply involved in the managed hosting and data center industries and is a frequent speaker at industry events, such as the Tier1 Hosting Summit and HostingCon.
